REGEN FIRESTIK

A liquid smoke designed for direct application to seeds – suited to both the commercial and horticultural market. It is produced using premium hardwood timber that is smouldered to produce high quality smoke which is condensed for use in germination has proven success on seedlings, seed trays and a wide range of vegetables, herbs and flowering species. It allows greater uniformity across sown seeds providing a range of benefits associated with production, convenience and cost efficiency.

FIRE-STIK FARMING

Over 40,000 to 50,000 years ago, indigenous people practiced a special form of environmental reform known as cultural burning.

Cultural burning, identified by Australian archaeologist Rhys Jones in 1969, is the practice of regularly and systematically burning patches of vegetation used in Australia to facilitate hunting, to reduce the frequency of major bush-fires, and to change the composition of plant and animal species in an area. This “fire-stick farming”, or “burning off”, reduces the fuel-load for a potential major bush fire, whilst fertilizing the ground and increasing the number of young plants, providing additional food for kangaroos and other fauna hunted for meat. It is regarded by Aboriginal people as good husbandry and “looking after the land”.

REGEN FIRESTIK SMOKE DRENCH

Understanding the benefits offered from cultural burning and the importance of continuing traditional methods of “good husbandry” and “looking after the land”, Grayson Australia developed Regen Firestik Smoke Drench. Produced from FSANZ approved food grade products and designed to replicate natures bushfire regeneration process, Regen Firestik provides most of the advantages of cultural burning without the emissions to atmosphere and other environmental concern associated with fire.

Through research, it has been identified that wood smoke acts as a trigger for many beneficial effects on the soil including germination, promotion of plant growth and reconditioning the soil to maximise growth following a fire. This natural process encourages the recycling and regeneration of plant life and soil.

Regen Firestik Smoke Drench is an acidic wood smoke extract that provides many of the positive effects of fire in an easy-to-apply liquid form for your soil. Produced from hardwood waste timber, Regen Firestik is a beneficial soil conditioner that has the potential to promote the activity of the soil and improve plant growth.

+ Improves soil activity prior to planting.
+ Acts as biological trigger for seed germination.
+ Enhances nutrient mobilisation in soil for improved uptake efficiency
+ Aids microbial degradation of plant and crop residues.
+ Complies with FSANZ food grade product standards.

REGEN FIRESTIK SMOKE DRENCH

Through many research initiatives , it has been identified that refined liquid wood smoke acts as a trigger for many beneficial effects on the soil including germination, promotion of plant growth, reconditioning of soil to maximise growth following a fire and accelerated organic residue breakdown. This natural process encourages the recycling and regeneration of plant life and soil.

Regen Firestik Smoke Drench is a food grade acidic wood smoke extract that provides many of the positive effects of “fire effect” in an easy-to-apply liquid form for applying to your soil. Produced from selected hardwood timber, Regen Firestik is a high performance soil conditioner that has the potential to promote soil activity, stimulate nutrient uptake and improve plant growth.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Always dilute in minimum total water volume of 50 litres per hectare. Always “Jar test” if mixed with any other agents, powders or chemicals prior to use. Seek professional advice if unsure of mixing compatibility.

+ Soil applied post harvest of annual crops – (dry residue) – 2-10 litres per hectare
+ Soil applied pre-sowing of annual crops – 2 to 7 litres per hectare
+ Seed applied for annual crops – 0.5 to 3 litres per tonne of seed
+ Horticultural / Viticulture Crops – 1-20 litres per Ha soil applied depending on soil type and cultivar requirements

Always seek recommendations and rates from your local agronomic advisor prior to
use.
